Everyone should experience crossing the Dubai Creek on an abra. You can buy a one-way ticket which is only 1 Dirhem AED or hire your own abra for an hour. There are two routes for creek taxis. Route 1 is running between Deira Old Souk Abra Station to Bur Dubai Abra Station 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Route 2 runs from Sabkha Abra Station to Dubai Old Souk Abra station for 24 hours. The Creek is the original centre of the city’s commerce and still buzzes with boats zipping up and down plying their trade and cargo.
